I, Virakti Shah, am a Research Assistant with the Tech Jobs Program, a research initiative funded by National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation (NIDILRR) at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).
On behalf of our Research Team, we would like to invite your staff, students, and beneficiaries to a Coffee Talk to discuss about Disability Rights Awareness and Self-Advocacy skills for persons with disabilities. We appreciate your wholehearted service to the population, and hence, invite you to join hands, and talk about addressing the issues faced by persons with disabilities in receiving the accommodations that they have the right to.
We hosted one Coffee Talk on March 24, and have our next one scheduled for April 14 (12:30-1:30 pm). We shall be further conducting more such beneficial sessions as per request.
