Fall 2021 Foundations Program for Young Professionals with Disabilities

Apply by Sunday, September 5th!

Lime Connect is excited to launch the Fall 2021 application for The Foundations Program for Young Professionals with Disabilities. This program is designed to engage young professionals in the Lime Network who are seeking to set and achieve career goals and learn to network and nurture professional relationships. Each participant will be supported by Lime Connect’s Career Coach as well as a designated Mentor. The Foundations Program incorporates individual coaching sessions, group sessions and webinars focused on topics that include Disclosure, Accommodations, Strengths, and Leadership.

Eligibility Requirements for participants:

  • A current working professional in the United States or Canada
  • Employed in a professional setting
  • 2-5 years of experience in your career
  • A person with a (visible or invisible) disability

*Those who are selected for final consideration for this cohort will be contacted for a 10-minute interview call.

The Lime Connect 2021 “In the Limelight” Video Contest

Whether it is as a student, intern, mid-level manager, or high-level executive, individuals with disabilities bring a unique perspective and diverse talents to the world, universities, and the workplace each and every day. The In the Limelight Video Contest aims to highlight that by showcasing how university students and professionals are rebranding disability through achievement.

Lime Connect is awarding over $20,000 in cash prizes to the top videos, courtesy of Lime Connect special advisor, Vint Cerf – Google’s Chief Internet Evangelist, “One of the Fathers of the Internet,” and the inspiration behind this annual contest!

Note: Round 1 includes a TEXT-ONLY submission. Selected semi-finalists will be notified to submit a final video.

2021 Financial Products Analytics & Sales Bloomberg Externship: October 6-8

If you are a 2023 graduate looking for an amazing exploration into Bloomberg LP, as well as an opportunity to secure a 10-week internship for Summer 2022, take a look at Bloomberg’s 2021 Financial Products Analytics and Sales Externship being held on October 6-8th 2021.

This 3-day program will run virtually from October 6th-8th for both New York and San Francisco. Students will have the option to indicate which session they prefer to attend in their application. This externship program will give students the perfect opportunity to learn about Bloomberg’s culture and one of our largest entry-level training programs. At the end of the 3-day program, the students will go through a formal interview day for the 2022 Analytics and Sales Internship next summer.

We are just days away from the 2021 Lime Connect Century Ride Virtual Challenge Kickoff!

Join Lime Connect starting September 9th as they kick off the Virtual arm of this year’s bike ride fundraiser! Bike riders of all experience levels will be riding to rebrand disability for 1 month to raise funds for Lime Connect’s Pathways Scholarship for High School Seniors with disabilities. You can even log your miles from your stationary bike, scooter, or walks!  With lots of giveaways and swag, you do not want to miss out on this challenge!
