Greetings from the Smart Museum of Art’s Feitler Center for Academic Inquiry! I’m excited to announce our Smart Scholars call for proposals for the upcoming academic year. This is a research-intensive program where undergraduate students are encouraged to engage in object-driven inquiry with the Museum’s collection to make a creative work (such as visual art, a performance, a piece of writing, etc.) or a program or a piece of scholarship. Undergraduates from all majors across UChicago are encouraged to submit a proposal as long as they have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at UChicago.
