SDS has received communication from the College indicating that final exams for Winter Quarter will be administered and evaluated online or through remote mediums, such as take-home exams. Your instructor or their designee will make remote arrangements for the final exam next week. If you have any questions about the format of your exam or have not received an update from your instructor about the exam format, please contact your instructor as soon as possible to clarify arrangements.
Given that all exams will be remote, SDS will not be proctoring exams during finals week. SDS previously reserved spaces on the third floor of the Young Memorial Building (5555 S. Ellis Ave.) in rooms 302, 306, 303, 305, and 311. While no SDS staff or proctors will be present to monitor the testing environment, students may utilize this space if they find they are in need of a potentially quiet environment to test. The Young Memorial Building is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM.
SPRING ACCOMMODATIONS
We are actively working to develop new resources with several campus partners and are in the process of completing plans for Spring Quarter accommodations. As we prepare for the Spring Quarter, we encourage students to email SDS with any concerns or identified needs so that we can take them into consideration as we create our plans and communications for the upcoming quarter. We expect to provide updated guidance and information about Spring Quarter accommodations as soon as it is available.
