Requesting Exam Accommodations

Exam Requests

(For use only by undergraduate students with approved exam accommodations)

Scheduling Exams in AIM

To schedule an exam for a course in the AIM Student Portal, click on “Alternative Testing” on the left-hand side of the screen and select the course from the drop-down menu. On the next page you will be asked to enter the date and time of the exam and indicate the exam accommodations that you will be using for the exam. Please note that your instructor DOES NOT need to submit the Alternative Testing Agreement in order for you to schedule your exam(s). When an exam is scheduled without the Alternative Testing Agreement, the instructor will be notified to submit the Agreement as soon as possible.

If a course is not listed in the drop-down menu, you need to check that you have requested “Alternative Testing” accommodations for that course. This can be done under “List Accommodations” on the left-hand side of the screen.

If you have further questions, please feel free to call or email anytime.

(More detailed instructions on requesting accommodations for each of your courses and instructions for scheduling your exams can be found here.)

If you are new to SDS, please go to the AIM Student Portal login page and submit an application using the link under “New Student” on the right. (Incoming students who do not yet have a CNetID and password should use this link instead.)
