The University Wide Access Committee

The mission of the University Wide Access Committee is to review University accessibility from a programmatic and systemic perspective. In that regard, the committee will work with Student Disability Services to review and develop policies/practices, which promote independence and autonomy among students with disabilities, encouraging accessibility by design rather than by exception. The committee is comprised of administrators, faculty, and students at the University of Chicago.

The Student Advisory Board

The mission of The Student Advisory Board is to provide students a collective and direct mode of communicating access and inclusion concerns to Student Disability Services and university administration. The board is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Chicago.
